2009 AWIC-NWeSP will take place in
Prague in the Czech Republic
on September 9-11, 2009.
The conference will be held at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of the Charles
University, Prague. This building has a convenient location in the historical city
center, in the area called Lesser Town (Malá Strana) close to local attractions
like Charles Bridge (Karlův most) and Prague Castle (Pražský hrad). The building
has been recently renovated.

Prague is one of the most beautiful cities in the world whose magical atmosphere
has been shaped over ten centuries. Places of the greatest tourist interest are
on the Royal Route running from the Powder Tower through Celetna Street to Old Town
Square, then across Charles Bridge through the Lesser Town up to the Hradcany Castle.
One should not miss the Jewish Town, and the National Gallery with its fine collection
of Czech Gothic art, collection of old European art, and a beautiful collection
of French art. Prague has a population of roughly 1,3 million.
2009 AWIC-NWeSP will be held at Faculty of Mathematics and Physics Malostranske
namesti 25, 110 00 Praha 1 - Mala Strana, Czech Republic. The palace is located
in the very historical heart of the city.
In September the weather in Prague is usually pleasant (20° C = 68° F).
Traffic channels
Tram - no. 12, 22 - stop "Malostranske namesti".
Subway - station "Malostranska" of A (green) line, then one stop by tram no. 12
or 22 (stop "Malostranske namesti").
Station "Narodni trida" of B (yellow) line, then by tram no. 22 to stop "Malostranske
namesti".
Car - Parking is possible directly in front of faculty on a watched parking place
at Malostranske namesti (Malostranske square).
